Christian's Remarkable Transformation Story...

HANDS-DOWN my favorite aspect of being a Coach is having the opportunity to watch other women change their lives from the INSIDE-out!

This journey isn’t just about the scale...it is a total transformation of one’s health body, mind, & spirit.

When challengers join the Imperfectly Balanced Challenge group they know they are going to be working on EVERYTHING the good, the bad…all of it!

There is NOTHING more rewarding as Coach when I get to CELEBRATE a Challenger and their remarkable transformation.

AND TODAY we are going to CELEBRATE Christian…

Christian is a dear friend of mine who I have known for almost 10 years & I cannot even begin to express HOW PROUD I am of this gorgeous women. A little over 2 months ago, she decided to go ALL in! I even remember her telling me how much she hated to exercise & NOW it is her new hobby he he!

PLEASE take the time to read Christian’s Story as I know it will inspire so many of you.

Below is Christian’s story in her own words...
_______________________________________________________________________1. Tell me about you…
I am a just turned 30-year-old mama and wife who works as a family practice PA at a busy Tampa practice. I have two pups and an unnamed fish.

2. When & Why did you decide to join my challenge group?
I joined in March of 2016. I was tired, fat, fatigued, and bloated.

3. What is your transformation? And how has your life changed since you said YES?
My story is similar to a lot of women's stories out there. I came from a broken home and I was dealing with the dysfunction from that. From that I dove head first into perfectionism and trying to be the best I could be. I wanted to be the best at everything. Despite being saved and knowing Jesus, my life was filled with insecurity and instability. Chaos and change was the norm. I didn't know how to have healthy relationships.

It wasn't until I had my son that my life unraveled.  A world war three fight between my mother and husband occurred 2 weeks after my son was born. Leaving despair, trust issues, and broken relationships in its wake. It was at this point in my life that post partum anxiety and depression hit hard. I was utterly bereft with emotions. I felt like I was another person. I was drowning. I was functioning on the outside but on the inside, I didn't know who I was and I was screaming for help.

I went to my counselor who worked with me, prayed with me, and encouraged me to take medication. I had ups and downs with medications but one of the downfalls was weight gain. I had never been an exerciser and had eaten whatever I wanted all my life (except for no dairy about 3.5 months thanks to my son's milk allergy). I actually made fun of people who exercised and ate healthy. So while I was thriving on the outside with my career and everyday life, my inside was emotionally and physically tired, unmotivated, hurting, bloated, and you name it I had it.

Ali and I have been friends for about 10 years. I had seen her posts and kept scrolling. In February of this year, I had had enough. I messaged Ali and asked her what I needed to do. I started my first challenge in March 2016. My life went from being a slob to exercising and eating healthy. I was less tired and felt better. My anxiety and depression were still there but I was gaining more confidence internally. With each challenge, I was pushed to do better and loved the community of women. My family, husband, and the challenge group women have been the greatest supporters. I feel BETTER!

4. If someone was deciding whether or not to join our Imperfectly Balanced Challenge Group & Community…what would you say to them?
Everyone can exercise and eat right but the experience of eating and exercising is not complete without the community…it helps you know you aren’t alone in the journey. It is way more important to live life together than to live it separately and not reach your goals. It isn’t just about eating healthy & exercising; It’s about becoming a better YOU. And honestly, if its money related for people they need to look at their budget because the money from that chocolate croissant and caramel macchiato from Starbucks they get every day is going to cover more than the cost of Shakeology #theTRUTH.

_______________________________________________________________________WOW. WOW.WOW…is all I can say!!!

I cannot THANK YOU enough Christian for being BOLD & transparent with your story. Thank you for allowing me to share your transformation. There are just not not enough words to explain how much joy you have brought into my life & know that God is only going to continue to transform you & use you to give HOPE to other women along the way!

If you are ready for MORE just like Christian was email me HERE if you want more details on our next Imperfectly Balanced Challenge group:) Be ready to change your life from the INSIDE-out!
